Construction College and Sumgayit Music College new appointments

In accordance with the relevant order of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, Shamama Amirova has been appointed to the Construction College under Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, and Aysel Safikhanova to Sumgayit Music College, as Deputy Director for Educational Affairs.

Shamama Amirova received her bachelor's degree at Azerbaijan University of Languages, specializing in “English Language Teaching”. She later obtained her master's degree at ADA University, specializing in “Education Management”. From 2013 to 2020, she worked as an English language teacher at Lachin District Full Secondary School No. 10, and since 2020, she has served as the director of the same school.

Aysel Safikhanova completed her bachelor's degree at Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, specializing in “Instrumental Performance”, and her master's degree with honors at Azerbaijan National Conservatory. Currently, she is pursuing a second higher education at Azerbaijan State University of Economics, specializing in “Management”.

Aysel Safikhanova, who began her professional career in 2015, has held several positions at various times. From 2023 to 2025, she worked as a lecturer in the Ethnomusicology Department of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory. Prior to her new appointment, she served as Assistant to the Rector at the Azerbaijan National Conservatory.
