“In fact, the greatest architects, the greatest builders, the greatest individuals who shape people are precisely our teachers”.
Aztəhsil.az reports that these thoughts were voiced by Kanan Karimzade, Deputy Minister of Science and Education, at an event titled “TəhsilPlus Card: New Opportunities for Education Workers”.
The Deputy Minister stated that teachers are also the protective pillars of society: “They are individuals who carry traditions with them and indirectly pass these traditions not only to their own generation but also to subsequent generations.
Individuals engaged in teaching activities have done great work for Azerbaijani society in every period, despite all difficulties, and have made significant contributions to the upbringing of many public figures”.
Kanan Karimzade also touched upon the activities of TIF, noting that as a result of the fund's efforts over the past years, scholarships have been provided to nearly 1000 female students to continue their education: “TIF has covered the educational expenses of over 1500 individuals – both our teachers and our students. The Education Development Fund also plays a significant role in the construction of educational institutions in Baku and several regions of Azerbaijan”.
He referred to the “TəhsilPlus” card as merely the beginning of contributions to the social welfare of teachers, expressing his wish for an increase in the number of teachers who will use this card in the future.
