Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev met with newly appointed directors of general education institutions located in Baku, Ganja, Sumgayit cities and various regions.
                        
The Minister first congratulated the school leaders on their new appointments and wished them success in their activities. Emin Amrullayev stated that the purpose of selecting directors through competition, based on the rules established by the Ministry of Science and Education, is to ensure professional and effective management in schools.
 
The Minister of Science and Education emphasized that directors are the key managing individuals responsible for the development of the school, and highlighted the importance of their operating based on strategic management principles.
 
Touching upon the importance of increasing the prestige of schools and teachers in society, Emin Amrullayev also brought attention to the modern challenges facing general education. The Minister, emphasizing the importance of proper organization of the pedagogical process in schools and adherence to discipline rules, noted the duties of general education institution leaders, the points requiring attention in this regard, and measures aimed at forming a healthy learning environment and improving management work.
 
The Minister stated that improving the quality of education should be among the director's main activities. A systematic control mechanism for the teaching and learning process should be established, the quality of lessons monitored, lesson observations conducted, the learning process properly organized, and the improvement of methodological work kept in focus.
 
Subsequently, the Minister of Science and Education noted the importance of school leaders establishing regular communication with teachers, students, and parents, and the necessity of carrying out work towards forming an environment based on mutual trust.
 
The meeting continued in an atmosphere of mutual exchange of ideas and interactive discussion with school directors, and solutions to the raised issues were discussed. Additionally, relevant assignments and recommendations regarding future activity directions were given to the school leaders
