By the Baku City Education Department (BCED), the project “Let's Protect Our Values!” has been launched.
Aztəhsil.az reports that within the framework of the project, educational institutions are planning to hold events titled “The Role of Family in Our Nation's National-Moral Value System”, “Culture of Relationships Based on Moral Values” and “Journey to Turkish History”.
At the same time, literary and artistic compositions titled “Let's Protect Our Values!”, concert programs, “Open Lessons”, class organization hours, “round table” discussions, intellectual competitions, contests and social actions, Novruz events, exhibitions of students' handicrafts, screenings of films featuring our nation's customs and traditions, and the preparation of corners and wall newspapers reflecting our moral values are planned.
General educational institutions that have joined the “Twin Schools” initiative and the OCEP program, as well as schools that are members of the UNESCO Associated Schools Network (ASPnet), will organize “Let's Protect Our Values!” events, events titled “Our Values in Fiction” in school libraries, culinary days titled “Our Kitchen Culture” and national music days titled “Our National Music is Our Nation's National Value”.
Also, in educational institutions, projects related to the topic, the preparation and placement of materials in various languages on internet resources by talented students aimed at protecting our national and moral values, and the staging of performances based on artistic works (pieces) reflecting our moral values are also planned.
Furthermore, the performance titled “Let's Protect Our Values: Turkish Hearth from Past to Future”, dedicated to the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture”, and the broadcast of the podcast titled “Voice of History” are planned.
It should be noted that the main objective of implementing the project is the protection and enrichment of our national-moral values, the education of learners in the spirit of love for values, the comprehensive study of the ancient history of Turkic peoples, and the strengthening of creative thinking tendencies in students.
