A training on the topic of “Rules of conduct and evacuation during emergencies” was conducted by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic at Shahbuz city Secondary School No. 2.

Aztəhsil.az reports that the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) disseminated information regarding this. 

It was stated that the purpose of conducting the training, which involved the relevant personnel and equipment of the MES's affiliated bodies, was to instill rules of conduct during emergencies, including fires, in the staff of the educational institution.

Initially, within the theoretical part of the training, MES employees provided detailed information to the school staff about necessary rules of conduct and evacuation measures during emergencies, including fires, and relevant video clips were shown.
In the practical part of the training, after an “Alarm” signal was given during a simulated earthquake and fire, students were evacuated from classrooms by teachers, and initial medical and psychological assistance was provided to the “victims”.

Subsequently, firefighters from the Ministry of Emergency Situations promptly arrived at the scene and commenced “firefighting” measures. In the school where the simulated fire occurred, in accordance with the evacuation plan, students and teachers remaining in the building were evacuated to a safe place, and “victims were rescued and provided with initial assistance”.

The training was successfully completed, and the set objectives were achieved.
