The results of the foreign language exams for applicants studying or having completed their doctoral studies, as well as the Azerbaijani language exam for foreigners, have been announced.

It was reported that the State Examination Center conducted the doctoral exam in foreign languages on February 15, 2026 (the Azerbaijani language exam for foreigners on February 16). On February 19, the speaking skills of the applicants were assessed.
Exam participants can view their results, answer sheets, and visual representation of their written work on the SEC's website (//exidmet.dim.gov.az/elimt/ImtBuraxilish/Login).
250 applicants participated in the foreign language exams (English, German, French), and 1 person participated in the Azerbaijani language exam.
89 people met the conditions set for the doctoral exam in foreign languages.
In both the doctoral exam in foreign languages and the doctoral exam in Azerbaijani language for foreign and stateless applicants, each correct answer to a test item is graded with one point, and incorrect answers do not affect the result of correct answers. Tasks for each block are evaluated on a 10-point scale. The maximum score that can be obtained in the exam is 50.
Applicants who have scored a minimum of 20 percent of the points for each of the listening comprehension, reading comprehension, use of language (lexical-grammatical tasks), writing, and speaking blocks, and a total of at least 30 points in the doctoral exam in foreign languages, and applicants who have scored at least 25 points in the doctoral exam in Azerbaijani language for foreigners, are considered to have met the requirements for the exam result.
Those wishing to appeal to the Appeals Commission regarding the exam results must approach the main administrative building of the State Examination Center and submit an application on March 5 and 6, from 10:00 to 17:00. Address: Baku city, Nasimi district, Academic Hasan Aliyev street, 299.
