Applications for higher education institutions, as well as for secondary vocational education institutions based on complete (11-year) and general (9-year) secondary education, started on February 18, 2026, and will continue until March 5.

To date, 117,444 people have applied for admission to higher education institutions, with 108,436 people in the Azerbaijani section and 11,835 people in the Russian section. Regarding colleges (11-year), this number totals 108,755 people, comprising 99,414 people in the Azerbaijani section and 9,341 people in the Russian section.
It has been reported that both current year graduates and graduates from previous years are participating in the application process.
The number of participants in the application process can be viewed in real-time in the statistics section on the SEC's website.
All applicants wishing to participate in the competition for higher education institutions and secondary vocational education institutions based on complete (11-year) secondary education, after creating a "Personal Cabinet" on the ekabinet.dim.gov.az page of the State Examination Center's website (for those who do not have a personal cabinet), by using its username and password, access the relevant SEC website page, fill out and confirm the "Applicant's Electronic Application" (//eservices.dim.gov.az/erizebak/erize/%20) form.
