REGISTRATION for higher education institutions today concludes

For admission to the bachelor's level of higher education and the vocational secondary education level (based on complete secondary education), a total of 125,918 applicants have registered.

According to information obtained by Aztəhsil.az from the State Examination Center, 125,918 of them applied to higher education institutions (HEI), and 116,825 applied to colleges based on 11 years of education.
Of those who applied to higher education institutions, 116,854 registered for the Azerbaijani section, and 12,486 for the Russian section. Among those who applied to colleges, 106,990 chose the Azerbaijani section, and 9,835 chose the Russian section.

The number of applicants who will participate in the test examination for the subject "Mother Tongue (as a state language)" is 11,343. Of these, 10,660 will take the exam within the framework of the graduation exam, and 683 will take the exam within the framework of the admission exam (1st attempt).

In addition, the number of applicants who received a "passing" grade in 2025 and were admitted to the competition without participating in this exam in the current year is 1,142.

Also, the number of applicants participating in the competition based on the results of the 2025 graduation and Stage I test examinations is 2,740.

It should be noted that the registration of all applicants (Stage I of application submission) for participation in admission exams to higher education institutions concludes on March 5. Candidates who have not registered will not be admitted to the exam.
